Hey
Hey.
Studying for Bio, thinking about Physics. Haha, sort of thinking about Chem. I'm working by myself again, but that's not really a bad thing - just have to worry about my own clumsy self!
I had a good day today. It was good.
Basketball intermurals (sp?) started today. I only know because that was the only thing the guys were talking about all day. I heard it about it in almost every class I went to. And I had to go through that hallway, filled with boys (and a few girls wow!) who were playing basketball.
Grace, let's make a team next year. I like basketball. It's pretty fun. We'll get Mandy and Dayana (actually they might not want to be on our team, haha) and Sally and Cass said okay. (Y) Cool. Alice can come too. Maybe we should get some guys on our team. (Y) Cool.
Happy. OKAY BACK TO BIO.

High School Musical
Okay, so I was watching TV with my brother, and waiting for Friends to come on. Friends is one of the only TV shows we can agree on, other than Arthur (hahaha) and Law & Order, and depending on my mood, the Simpsons. Family Guy is cool too...I wanted to watch America's Next Top Model while waiting for Friends, but my brother just can't stand that show.
I mean...I get it. He's a guy. But I was just mega moody and really wanted to watch ANTM. (New season...looks CRAZY!) Anyways, he decides, okay why don't we watch HSM3, since it was on TV. So I was like "...enh, fine". Better than golf!
The first thing I notice is it's REALLY REALLY HIGH DEFINITION. LIKE WOW!!!
It's almost trippy watching it, because it's so BAM.
Anyways, I just watched for a couple of minutes, after the part where Zac (what's his movie name? Troy? LMFAO what a name!) finds out his girlfriend...named...Vanessa (What's her name in the movie?!) won't be coming back for prom. His friend...Corbin (LMFAO I DON'T KNOW ANYONE'S NAME!) tells him, "Wow...that's lousy."
...That's...lousy? Okay, honestly, HSM is so fake. What teenager honestly says, "That's lousy."??? Lousy is a pretty...sophisticated term for young adults. I mean, we might say, "That sucks" or "Tough" or a variety of cuss words, but LOUSY? Man, I couldn't watch anymore after that. It was just...too unbelievable. "That's lousy."
NO it's not just lousy! It sucks! It's terrible!
Yeah, I just couldn't take it after that. Too unrealistic. I mean, it just made it so obvious that the movie was impossible.
Oh, and the spontaneous singing and dancing were hints too. Yah. HAHA!

Sorry Sorry Sorry Sorry Naked Naked Naked Naked
Hahahahahahahaha, way to start it off shawty.
By shawty I mean me.
:) Anyways, just wanted to say a few things.
My favourite word so far in the Tempest is "verdure".
It's like...the GREENESS of vegetation or something like that. Plants and stuffs.
Another thing.
"And I pray that the hearts of the self-righteous may be broken."
-The Chrysalids
I love that quote. OKAY ONE MORE THING.
"All this time...it kills me
This is the game he plays, always gonna cheat
Night after night, another girl, another drink
She doesn't see that she should be with me
She's gotta give him
Give give give him up"
- Give Him Up, Faber Drive

Here are some jokes I made when I went to eat Korean BBQ. Haha. They are akin to the older and less sophisticated "cow jokes". But I have moved on from such triviality and have risen in the ranks of comic relief.

Technology
Hey. I've been really annoyed about this for the past couple of day, and it's time to UNLEASH THE FURY. (Fury and furry R only 1 letter apart...hahahahaa...).
I just...can't stand when there are super high tech things like...fancy electric toothbrushes or like super mechanized ergonomic white-out tape things. What. Is. The. Point. There is so much energy and money and time wasted on these useless things - HOW GOOD CAN A TOOTHBRUSH GET? USE YOUR ARMS! Like...they are the epitome of superfluous. The worst thing, to me, is that there is so much money spent on making these things hi-tech and crazy.
Take gum. Before they were just in aluminum packet things, which was okay, sometimes they got squished, but enh, it's gum - that's the point of gum (squishyy!!). And then they moved on to cardboard packs...with plastic dome things for the gum...and you could pop them out. But now, when you buy gum, they are all in these crazy packs, with 2 tiers and places you can rip off, and hidden messages and flaps to keep down the top flap and just...UGH!! Why so complicated?! It's gum! You don't even eat it!
If all this was free and for fun...fine. But all of this crap that humans are making costs money - money that could be used to feed people! To help people! I just...really dislike redundant things.
Another thing...they are thinking of changing Canada's anthem, O Canada, because it's sexists. "In all our son's command" or something like that, because, hey, sons are boys, and girls live in Canada too. But I just feel like...no one really MINDS it that way. Actually, there was a poll done, and 90% of people thought they should keep it as it is. They are going to "review" it in Parliament or something, which...in our recession...is just not that relevant. Why change a good thing? No one minds, everyone is proud of our anthem (Winter Olypics, eh?), and...ah!
That's all. :)

A Real Title
Hello. "Here's a quote." Maybe I'll put a real quote in later. I realized I like reading memoirs. Like...LOL the obvious one, "Memoirs of a Geisha", which was AMAZING. It's long and long and long, but I think it was really beautiful. All that detail...Every time I read it, I see a little bit more. :)
I read a memoir recently, "Paper Daughter" by M. Elaine Mar, and it's about herself, Elaine, and her journey to the United States, and how life was like for her in a Cantonese family. I thought it was really interesting - it was really...real. LOL.
It was just her childhood, and little memories and tokens kept from her past. Her family worked at a restaurant, and a lot of the story revolved around that. I say story, but this is someone's life! And I really like that. I'm not really a fantasy girl...I've tried, honestly!!!, to read Harry Potter and Inkheart, multiple times, but I just can't get through it.
Especially Inkheart. Each time, I read up to page 100, and tell myself how interesting it is. But...it really wasn't interesting. I thought the cover was so pretty, and JENNIFER WHY CANT YOU FINISH THIS STORY?!?!? Haha, but yeah, it just wasn't my type (of book. teehee.)
:) I like reading about real life stories and the stuff people go through in their lives. I like knowing that things happen, haha!
No quote today. Okay, maybe one, since I like them haha!
"If I had only known, I would have been a locksmith."
-Albert Einstein
This dude is awesome. Go see some of his other quotes. They are just too great. :)
